The Namibian Journal of Environment (NJE) invites interested parties from all walks of life to submit contributions to be considered for publication.
NJE accepts papers containing information about any aspect of sustainable development in Namibia. This includes areas of ecology, agriculture, social sciences, economics, policy and law, water and energy, climate change, planning, land use, pollution, strategic and environmental assessment and related fields. It publishes primary research findings, syntheses and reviews, applied and theoretical research, field observations and the testing of hypotheses, new ideas and the exchange of opinions. The Namibian Journal of Environment aims to create a platform for scientists, planners, developers, managers and everyone involved in promoting Namibia’s sustainable development.
We accept Articles (peer reviewed), Field Notes, opinions and book reviews. All manuscripts submitted containing original research, syntheses or reviews will be peer-reviewed to ensure that a high standard is maintained. Manuscripts under consideration by NJE should not simultaneously be under consideration by any other publication.
Field notes, opinions and book reviews will be accepted at the discretion of the editorial committee and may be edited (and shortened) for ease of reading and understanding.
